UW La Crosse - Gymnastics Camps
UW La Crosse - Gymnastics Camps mobile

Junior Eagle Gymnastics is located in the very gym that the UW-L women's gymnastics team practices!  We are in Gyms 201 and 203 on the second floor of Wittich Hall.  If you are familiar with UW-L's campus, Wittich can be found behind the International Flags just off of East Avenue.  It is between Main Hall and Cowley Hall, and behind the physical plant building (the one with the tall smokestack).  Below are some directions from all four cardinal directions leading to Mitchell Hall's parking lot (Lot C-2).  Participants can park in Lot C-2 free of charge during gymnastics classes.  (Summer participants will be provided with a parking pass, and it MUST be visible to parking staff for each class).  If you choose to park elsewhere, please make sure you adhere to UW-L parking policies.  To get to Wittich from the lot, walk into campus towards the Clock Tower, and Wittich will be on your left (use the left entrance to the building).

All classes will be held in Wittich Hall on the UW-L campus. Wittich Hall (1916), the original physical education building on campus, houses faculty and staff offices, gymnasiums, a track, multipurpose and meeting rooms, a Strength Training Center, a therapeutic/rehabilitation swimming pool, the Musculoskeletal Research Center, the Special Populations Exercise Program, the Leisure Lifestyle Research and Service Center, and special equipment areas. The building has been renovated for extensive use in the preparation of special/adapted physical education teachers and therapeutic recreation specialists.

The building is the primary practice site for the Women's Intercollegiate Athletics Gymnastics team. In addition, Wittich Hall hosts many community service and continuing education offerings such as youth sport programs in gymnastics and swimming, leisure counseling, and special populations exercise and motor development programs.

Wittich Hall, the Physical Education Building of the La Crosse State Normal School, was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 1985. A metal plaque is installed at the southeast entrance to the building to acknowledge this designation.
